Source policy

How SourceX sources and cites claims.

Quick answer

SourceX prefers primary sources for factual claims: regulators, legislation, government publications, standards bodies, peer-reviewed research and official company documentation. Claims that cannot be verified are not published. External references are linked visibly and are not automatically nofollowed.

Preferred sources

  • Government regulators and legislation (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA texts)
  • Standards organizations
  • Peer-reviewed research
  • Official AI-company and platform documentation
  • Company filings and official statements

What we avoid

  • Unattributed statistics
  • Secondary summaries when the primary source is available
  • Vendor claims presented as fact
