Exclusive vs non-exclusive licenses

By SourceX Editorial · Updated

Draft under editorial review.

Short answer

Exclusive licenses give one buyer sole rights and usually pay more, but block other deals. Non-exclusive licenses let you license the same records to several buyers. SourceX deals are exclusive by default, non-exclusive when that fits better.
